Lisa Alleva is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 14 years of experience in the addiction treatment field. Originally from Delaware, Lisa moved to Florida 24 years ago to attend graduate school at Nova Southeastern University, where she earned her Master’s degree in 2002 and her Ph.D. in 2012. Inspired by the experiences of family members struggling with addiction, Lisa has dedicated her career to helping individuals overcome both substance use disorders and the unresolved traumas that often contribute to them.
Lisa is certified in Hypnotherapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Rapid Trauma Resolution, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and RTM (Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories). Her approach to therapy focuses on trauma resolution, as she believes that addressing past traumas is crucial for individuals to move forward and break free from addiction.
Passionate about guiding her clients through healing and self-discovery, Lisa finds immense satisfaction in helping people resolve their emotional pain so they no longer experience mental suffering. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys cooking and exploring new recipes.
