Amber Nagy, LMHC, MCAP

Amber Nagy is a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Master’s Level Certified Addictions Professional (MCAP) with a deep passion for supporting individuals and families through the challenges of mental health and addiction recovery. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from St. John’s University and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Since 2018, Amber has worked extensively in the field of substance use and mental health treatment, gaining broad experience across a variety of clinical roles. Her areas of focus include addiction recovery, trauma healing, and family systems support. She is trained in Solution-Focused Therapy and specializes in trauma treatment using evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT).
Amber brings a holistic and client-centered perspective to her work, recognizing that each individual’s path to healing is unique. She is currently training to become a certified Breathwork Facilitator and integrates mindful, body-based practices into her therapeutic approach to support emotional regulation, deepen self-awareness, and promote overall well-being.

With a strong commitment to empowering those in early recovery, Amber helps clients build lasting foundations for healing and personal growth. She also works closely with families, offering education and support to foster understanding and resilience in the face of a loved one’s struggles. Amber’s approach is rooted in empathy, safety, and empowerment. She blends practical tools with compassionate care to create a supportive environment where clients can process their experiences, develop resilience, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
